I’ve always admired those moms. You know the ones who look absolutely fabulous from head to toe, carrying a toddler in one arm, pushing a stroller with the other, and balancing a designer bag on her shoulder. The Queen glam mommy for me has to be Kimora Lee Simmons. She’s always so flawless and with her children in tow. Just slaying all day err day.
But the reality is I’m not Kimora, I’m just a girl from Philly trying to chase these dreams and raise these babies. But that don’t mean I can’t be fab while doing it. Most days just getting out of the house is an accomplishment all by itself, but even on the most hectic of outings I always have my essential beauty items. These are 5 products that I never leave home without. They’re super easy to just toss in the diaper (or Michael Kors tote if you’re fancy) and go!
Lip Crayon: Rather than carry a full out lipstick, grabbing a tinted balm may be the better route to take! The abundance of lip crayons on the market are a perfect example of balms in such simple packaging you can take them anywhere and apply with ease!
Hand Cream: Never leave home without it. Just because your hands are full doesn’t mean neglect them! We should take the best care of the hands giving hugs and wiping noses ;).
Nail File: I don’t know about you but my nails are forever chipping and getting snagged on something or another. Keeping a fresh manicure with a toddler in diapers is insanity! That’s why it’s great to keep a nail file on you AT ALL TIMES!
Fragrance: I’m big on smelling good so bringing along some type of fragrance is so important. Especially for those long sport practices outside. Rollerballs are perfect, just the right size and easy to apply.
Mascara: Little itty bitty mascaras make the perfect toss and go products. Mascara is THE go to beauty item when you want a quick fix to liven up your face. The right mascara can make a WORLD of difference. Travel size mascaras are the perfect to grab and go and they don’t take up much room at all.
With these essential beauty products I can pretty much tackle any situation with the crew in tow. I’ve survived many a Saturday morning football practice with these little gems!
Stay blessed beautiful!
